Race Weekend
Details

Located in Coulee Dam and Grand Coulee, Washington, which is situated 90 miles west of Spokane, 100 miles east of Wenatchee and 4 hours from the Seattle area. For maps and driving directions, see our Directions and Lodging page HERE​.
 

The 10k and Half-Marathon course course follows along the shores of beautiful Banks Lake. The 5K ends at Banks Lake Park, located at the end of North Dam, and adjacent to our popular Run the Dam Festival. We are excited to make this event successful and, most of all, fun and memorable for all participants.

Weekend Schedule

Friday 4-7pm and Saturday 6:30-8:30am Packet Pick up and late Registration at Banks Lake Park (Finish Line) – Look for the GREEN flag at the park, along Hwy 155.

7:00-8:45am sharp Shuttles from Finish Line Parking Area to Starting Line

8:45am Runners/Walkers meeting at starting line

9:00am Runners Stretch & Warm Up

9:30am Half Starts

9:32am 10K Starts

9:35am 5K Starts

9:30-11:30am DJ & Food at the Finish

Awards Booth at the finish, stop in ASAP to pick up your awards

10:00am Beer Garden opens with live entertainment all-day

Packet Pickup

Location

Packet pickup will happen at Banks Lake Park on Friday, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM and on Saturday,  from 6:30 to 8:30 AM.

Check-In

We recommend not waiting around the start earlier than 7:00AM. It will be a little earlier if you take the early shuttle. Tote will be available for clothing transport from the start back to the finish. 

Course Cut-Off

Cut-off times for race support will be enforced for all half-marathon participants. Cut-off times for all races will be 12:30 PM. Please familiarize yourself with the course. Take a close look at the course maps and other information HERE. It is your responsibility to KNOW THE COURSE!

Shuttle & Parking

Two Shuttles will run before the race, from the parking area at the Finish Line at Banks Lake Park to the Start Line on the East end of the Dam, beginning at 7:00 AM. The last shuttle will leave Banks Lake Park at 8:35 AM sharp.

RTD is not responsible for your vehicle, should it be towed. If your vehicle blocks the race, residences, businesses, or is otherwise illegally parked, it will be towed at your expense. Please use Banks Lake Park, located at the end of North Dam, adjacent to the vendor fair, and the shuttle to avoid any parking violations. Parking at the Casino or Harvest Foods is for short-term, paying customers only.

NOTE: Banks Lake Park, located at the end of North Dam, is situated just west of the intersection of Highway 174 and 155, between Grand Coulee and Electric City. This is where the finish line will be. Our annual Run the Dam Festival is held in Banks Lake Park on Friday and Saturday of Race weekend.  We recommend you park your vehicles at Banks Lake Park.
