WHERE IS THE EVENT?
Located in Coulee Dam and Grand Coulee, Washington, which is situated 90 miles west of Spokane, 100 miles east of Wenatchee and 4 hours from the Seattle area. For maps and driving directions, see our Directions and Lodging page.
The 10k and Half-Marathon course course follows along the shores of beautiful Banks Lake. DO YOU OFFER A SHUTTLE?
Two Shuttles will run before the race, from the parking area at the Finish Line at Banks Lake Park to the Start Line on the East end of the Dam, beginning at 7:00 AM. The last shuttle will leave Banks Lake Park at 8:35 AM sharp.

DO YOU HAVE EVENT SPECIFIC PARKING?
RTD is not responsible for your vehicle, should it be towed. If your vehicle blocks the race, residences, businesses, or is otherwise illegally parked, it will be towed at your expense. Please use Banks Lake Park, located at the end of North Dam, and the shuttle to avoid any parking violations. Parking at the Casino or Harvest Foods is for short-term, paying customers only.
NOTE: Banks Lake Park, located at the end of North Dam, is situated just west of the intersection of Highway 174 and 155, between Grand Coulee and Electric City. This is where the finish line will be. Our annual Run the Dam Festival is held in Banks Lake Park on Friday and Saturday of Race weekend. We recommend you park your vehicles at Banks Lake Park.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I TAKE TOO LONG WHILE RUNNING?
Cut-off times for race support will be enforced for all half-marathon participants. Cut-off times for all races will be 12:30 PM. Please familiarize yourself with the course. Take a close look at the course maps and other information. It is your responsibility to KNOW THE COURSE!

WHERE DO I PICKUP MY PACKET?
Packet pickup will happen at Banks Lake Park on Friday, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, from 6:30 to 8:30 AM.

WHAT DO I DO AFTER CHECK-IN?
WE RECOMMEND NOT WAITING AROUND THE START EARLIER THAN 7:00AM. IT WILL BE A LITTLE EARLIER IF YOU TAKE THE EARLY SHUTTLE. TOTE WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR CLOTHING TRANSPORT FROM THE START BACK TO THE FINISH.

IS THERE A REFUND POLICY?
Due to the nature of the multi-sport and running business, many of our expenses need to be paid up front to reserve venues and receive permits. It is therefore not possible for us to provide refunds on registrations unless Run the Dam is forced to cancel a race. In the unlikely event that the race is canceled, we will provide a full refund (minus any registration service fees such as eventbrite.com charges). We will do our absolute best to never have to cancel a race.
